The Fulfilling Leadership and You
The ongoing changes in today’s world are transforming the purpose and form of leadership and they will not stop there. On the contrary, the tendency is that greater uncertainties will come in a more complex, virtual and connected environment, with a faster speed of change, and new environmental, social, economic and organizational realities.
Feeling accomplished in this new world (and, in fact, helping to take it to a better place) will depend on deep changes in leadership practices and consulting. As the German consultant Karl-Martin Dietz said: “Leadership is to encourage a consciousness effort.”
It is already possible to notice that organizations’ employees now question and challenge more, they ask for more participation in decision-making processes and wish to contribute to causes that give meaning to their work. Fewer and fewer people will report to the position on your ID card. They will let themselves be led by who you are, by observing your examples and behaviors, not just your speech, attitudes which are, in fact, constructors of organizational culture.
Also, consultants are increasingly challenged to build with the groups at their service and at the organization’s service, rather than delivering ready-made solutions that need to be sold and are more difficult to sustain.
In this context, leaders (formal or informal) and organizational consultants are the very instrument of transformation – of themselves and others. Lumo Development Program aims to help you “fine tune your instrument”, by developing fulfilling leadership and specializing development (or process) consultants to work within an organization, as an in-house consultants, or external consultants (as service providers).
An integrated approach that deals with the development of the individual, the group and the organization, helping them to:
- deepen self-knowledge in order to act from the inside out, with authenticity;
- broaden the perception of the other, of groups and of the context by observing social phenomena;
- learn how to balance self-care and care with the other and the whole (selfishness and altruism);
- create, decide and make things happen in a group, taking advantage of diversified individualities and personalities;
- support change processes as an agent, participant or facilitator;
- recognizing conflict situations and helping to balance them by nurturing dialogue;
- work on confidence in future possibilities.
Specialization in Consulting is an optional extension aimed at those who want to go beyond in acting professionally as facilitators of human and organizational development processes. Lumo’s partners will share their experience and offer mentoring so that the participants can further strengthen themselves in the art and techniques of process (or development) consulting and can outline their own identity and professional practice as consultants.
Leaders, consultants, coaches or liberal professionals seeking to act as agents of change, based on concepts and practices that expand knowledge about themselves, individuals, groups and organizations, with an integrated and humanistic approach successfully adopted for over 30 years in Brazil, in organizations of different sizes and natures.
People in search of a self-development journey, combined with learning of new contents and perspectives to act as leaders, directors or consultants for the development of healthy groups and institutions.
We are looking for active participants in organizations, who contribute in a proactive, motivated and open way to share lessons learned and insights acquired from their personal and professional experiences.
Our groups are formed by independent professionals and leaders from client enterprises such as Porto Seguro, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Grupo Fleury, Grupo Boticário, Petrobras, SENAC, Johnson & Johnson, Braskem, Natura, and Sabesp, among others.
Real Cases
We work only with real situations, as opposed to simulations, hypothetical case studies and purely theoretical knowledge. At each module, issues from participants’ organizations will be chosen as “cases”, becoming objects of diagnostics and action plans will be made in small groups, with a background of contents tools in focus.
Applied Project
The entire program is designed for application in life and in organizations.
After each module, participants will be encouraged to apply the content explored through practical applications to be developed, which should be elaborated in their professional context, demonstrating their personal and professional learning. These practical applications should be delivered at the beginning of each module, with the feedback about them by the group coordinator. The program completion certificate requires the delivery four application works which will be requested from participants.
Multiple Didactic Methods
The lectures are dialogued, with contents built together with the participants, mostly on a flip chart.
The days begin with movements specially designed for each module and according to the group’s profile, carried out by professionals, with the aim of integrating, awakening participants to learning, and creating connections with contents to be worked on.
In addition to group work focused on organizational issues, we use different artistic activities to stimulate insights and learning by ways beyond rational and rectilinear thinking to which we are exposed and restricted in our daily lives.
Learning Together in a Safe and Reflective Space
In Lumo’s Development Program, you will share learning and experiences with participants with multiple backgrounds, from organizations of different regions, sizes and natures, expanding perspectives and challenges in an environment of trust, where there are no mistakes, only development opportunities. The number of vacancies per company is limited in order to ensure diversity and confidentiality in group work.

Opinion of people who have already participated
Participating in the Consultants Training was fundamental to my career transition process in aspects such as awareness, widening my views of “people”, and the facilitator’s posture / attitude. Special thanks for the nice reception by Lumo members.
Attending the Leadership Training at Lumo was a watershed in the way I view the other, relationships and organizations. The program allows us to better understand how we operate, our main strengths and weaknesses, and, as a result, learn how to make better choices and thus help more genuinely and effectively the people and organizations with which we interact. If I may give a tip: Believe in the process! This is true for training and for life.
My experience with Lumo’s team during the Consultants and Leaders Development program has been transformative, from a professional and personal point of view. Through inspiring lectures, practical exercises applied in my company’s daily life and a lot of self-reflection, I was able to develop new management and leadership skills. This allowed me to deliver better results in the company, mainly from a more facilitative role in the management of my team.
Impossible to be the same at the end. It is simply transforming!
Lumo’s course has brought me a deepening process in self-knowledge, in an intense way, and supported by the group’s strength, constituting an incredible journey!
Speechless…
Not only what I discovered in each module, by relating points to my professional and personal life, but also to describe the feelings, battles, and anxieties that, throughout my life, were created in my mind through distorted perceptions. When I started the course was full of certainties, now the only one that will accompany me is that the uncertainties will lead me to questioning, and that it is to the questions that I should devote more time.
Gratitude.
Lumo Development Programs widened my views. I evolved in the ability to develop and support people, achieving better results for them and for the organization. It was fundamental in my evolution as a leader and as a human being. It helped in the business aspect, but where it made the biggest difference was in my life as a whole.
In an increasingly technological and digitized world, the Lumo Training in Achievement Leadership has been a fantastic experience because it focuses on the importance of the Human Being and his compositions in groups, organizations and society. It has given us various insights, a broad vision and a practical learning as consultants of how we can influence and bring convergence to this new world, using archetypes to make it better, thus not losing its humanistic essence.
To see life with other eyes, people with more heart and myself with more accuracy: these are some of the provocations and reflections that the Lumo Training has brought me. I am very grateful to have lived through this transforming experience and crossed Lumo’s path and the paths of the dear colleagues in my class.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Lumo Development Program| Fulfilling Leadership is a renewed and expanded version of the Training of Consultants and Facilitating Leaders of former Adigo Consultants, acknowledged to be a success story for over 20 years.
The Fulfilling Leadership track’s proposal (covering the Lumo Development Program’s first five modules) is to explore all the archetypes worked on in the Adigo Program, contextualizing them to the needs of today’s world, organizations and leaderships, without giving up the anthroposophical approach that forged and is the base of action of all Lumo members, who carry out the program’s execution as a team. In addition, new themes have also been incorporated, serving the same purpose of updating, renewing and alignment with current dilemmas and challenges.
The Fulfilling Leadership track’s groups have a maximum of 30 participants, mostly (60-70%) business executives, from the most diverse areas (HR, Commercial, Marketing, Legal, IT, Finance etc.), businessmen and professionals from family companies, all seeking their improvement as leaders. The percentage of HR professionals historically turns around 30%. Over the years, we have witnessed the growth in the participation of external consultants, liberal professionals (lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc.) and NGO managers.
This question demands an individual conversation. The answer will depend on how long ago you attended the Adigo (or the Germinate) training program, your needs and present moment/situation. Lumo members are available to discuss and support the decision on the best development path for each participant.
There is no possibility of taking individual modules. The Lumo Development Program is a developmental path, where each module’s content is built based on the knowledge acquired in the previous modules. Participating in the individual growth process and in the group that forms each class is a unique and transformational experience, fundamental for the Lumo Training proposal.
The module can be replaced in the next classes of each Lumo Development track.
Certainly, based on the premise that we all are leaders. The concept of Fulfilling Leadership goes far beyond having subordinates or acting in a formal organization. It assumes being a leader in at least 3 dimensions – a leader responsible for achieving results, leading through people (by subordination, influence, inspiration, cooperation, etc.), and being a leader of oneself, consciously the protagonist of one’s own path of personal and professional development.
This question demands an individual conversation. The in-company Consultant Training or Leadership Development programs conducted by the former Adigo Consultores or even by Lumo do not follow a standard in terms of workload, duration and content as they are tailored to the needs of each company. Depending on the program attended, your career momentum, your needs and future plans, it may be interesting or not to engage in the Fulfilling Leadership track. It is worth emphasizing that the exchange of experiences and feedbacks among professionals from different areas and organizations is one of the main sources of learning highlighted by participants and a great differential of the Lumo Training in relation to the in-company programs. Lumo members are available to discuss and support the decision on the best development path for each participant.
For the Fulfilling Leadership track, we issue 2 types of certificate:
- Certificate of Completion – for participants who completed the 5 modules and delivered all the application works.
- Participation Certificate – for participants who completed the 5 modules and did not submit all the application work.
The Germinar Program is a leadership developing process for third-sector people and/or professionals who work in the areas of social responsibility. Sharing the same conceptual basis of the Lumo Development Program | Fulfilling Leadership, its contents and experiences as well, since its participants work based on the social context in which they live. After 13 years and more than 3000 participants, the Program is recognized as a social technology by Banco do Brasil and has classes all over Brazil and in Argentina and Chile.
